Another big plus is the programmable sleep mode, which goes to standby after a period of one hour of no use. It's also easy to clean and requires a minimal amount of water. If you're looking to keep your energy costs low, you should consider purchasing an appliance that has a removable capsule holder to make emptying easier.

You can also add a milk frother to your coffee pod (unless one is already included in the model you purchase). You may also want to think about a reusable coffee filter that can be used with reusable capsules. A thermometer or water kettle for precise temperature control is also a good option.

Although the Bruvi brewer is more than Keurig or Nespresso but it is a fantastic device in all aspects that feels like a dawning of a new era in pod coffee.

Some models produce single-serve cups with different sizes, ranging from large travel mugs to 2-ounce espresso shots. Certain machines can brew entire pots of coffee.
