This robot is a few hundred dollars less expensive than the S8 and does an excellent job of keeping my office tidy. It also has the ability to reach all corners of my small apartment. It uses laser mapping and a camera to make a map of your space, so it knows where to stay away from. It has an object/obstacle detector that will stay clear of things like toys and dog bowls (but not poop), unlike many vacuums.

Other amazing features include a self-emptying dustbin, a mop that is self-washing and adjustable for water temperature, and an extended side-reaching brush that is able to reach areas that other mops cannot reach. You can also customize the settings for each room, and set up cleaning schedules.

Similar to the S8 model, it comes with multi-room smart mapping and can distinguish between laminate flooring, carpets and hardwood rugs with high-pile. It also lets you skip mopping rooms that are not clean if you want to save time. If you have a wide range of flooring in your home and don't want to invest additional money for a Roborock with advanced mapping capabilities it is an excellent option.

7. Q5 Pro

This robot is a great choice when you're seeking a flexible robot that can do both regular maintenance on a daily basis and touch-ups to messy water stains. It comes with a variety of features that include a self-emptying dustbin, a separate dock to refill water, and customizable settings via the app. It's quite quiet, and it's able to maneuver around furniture legs and socks effortlessly. However, it isn't able to pick up tangled rug tassels and it's battery drains faster than other models we tested in our tests.

The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a beast that provides a powerful suction and convenient automation in a sleek design. It didn't score quite as well in our vacuuming and mopping tests as the much more expensive Roborock S8MaxV Ultra however it did extremely well overall. It also includes a wide variety of cleaning modes to suit your needs, from the low-power 'Quiet' mode for debris that is light to the more powerful 'Turbo' option for carpeted rooms. It also has the capability to automatically remove and replace its mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is a great mop and robot vacuum for those who live in tiny areas. It's quiet and quick and does a good job of navigating tight spots. It's also extremely effective at removing pet hair off carpeting.

It's smaller than many of its competitors however it doesn't sacrifice any features. It has a decent suction capacity and can be set to take pictures of every object it finds (i.e. chew toys, socks), and mark them in the app as 'not found' to ensure that they will not be removed in future cleanings. The photos are secure and are not connected to your account.

It's great at vacuuming, but not so good in mopping. It uses disposable wipes that are clipped onto the bottom of the bot and drags them across the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal that have water reservoirs and automatically wash and reattach their mopheads.
