The only downside I've discovered with this model was that its VibraRise mop pad mount isn't movable. While you can replace the mopping cloth (if it's required), it's a pain to remove the mount for manual washing. I've noticed that any plush carpet the robot crosses will be in contact with the rough Velcro-like fastener mechanism on the mount, which can cause scratches.

The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a range of smart features including support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa. The Roborock app is where you can manage and configure these smart features. It also includes maps and advanced mopping options. The app allows you to schedule cleanings, monitor the battery life and maintain your components. However, you'll need to jump through a few hoops in order to allow voice control with this model, which is a shame considering how well it performs otherwise.
