Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades to gear increase its base stats and sometimes enhances its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements and how many random augmentations are applied.

Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that is able to be inserted into armors, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools in order to provide an extra effect or attribute benefit while the equipment is being used. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, obtained through quests or exchanged between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so will destroy the previous upgrade, excluding for glyphs that can be replaced and removed at any time.

Requirements

The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can improve the item's statistics.
