World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can boost the value of armors, weapons and rings. Upgrades can also boost bonuses like Crit chance and PvE Damage.

For example a weapon that has the upgrade template that is ending in % will gain an attack damage of 3% each time it is upgraded (relative to its previous value).

The cost of upgrading an item is determined by the item upgrader mod's level. The cost increases as the level of the item rises.

Components

Upgrade components are items that can be inserted into weapons, armor, and trinkets to provide an extra stat boost or impact while they're being used. These can be obtained by making crafts, buying from vendors or trading with other players, or looting. Some upgrades can also be accompanied by specific cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can only be used on devices that have slots. The item must be upgraded to blue before a component can be applied. Upgrade components, unlike other modifications, can only be applied only once. They cannot be replaced or applied several times. Infusions and Enrichments are kind of upgrade item component used to upgrade non-amulet legendary and ascending equipment, as as some non-ascended items. Infusions and enrichments can be obtained by salvaging equipment from the ascended state or completing a quest in the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.

A prefix or suffix can be added to an upgrade, thereby changing the name of the item it's applied to (for example, 'Canthan Armor Insignia,' becomes Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). Certain upgrades boost the Mark Level or Rarity of an item, which lets players to create stronger versions using less Upgrade crystals than they would need to reach the same level using normal methods.

A 'boost' upgrade can change the attack or defence attributes of the weapon or armor. After the player has completed the cutscene and defeated the Crazed Mechanist the upgrades can be made at the Portative Forging Station. These upgrades can be obtained by purchasing them in the cash shop or getting them from enemies while upgrading other equipment.

The player can have the maximum of five boost upgrades at one time. Each upgrade increases the likelihood that a higher-level version of the item will be available at the time of the next reset. This gives the player some incentive to keep upgrading their gear even if they're not sure of how much they'll increase after a future reset.

The boost upgrade may be successful or not, the process could be costly, and there is a substantial risk that the item may become obsolete or even break when it fails; a failed upgrade will ruin Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder, as well as the upgraded item. This is alleviated by the availability cash shop items that double or even eliminate the chance of failure, and some upgrades that provide the benefit of being reinserted into an item.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to upgrade the Paragon Board by placing them in sockets with special functions. Glyphs boost the power of nodes within a radius, including any pre-existing affixes. Glyphs are upgraded in various ways, and we recommend getting them to level 15 as soon as possible.

You'll often see in the endgame that putting Glyphs is the best method to upgrade your gear. They are the only upgrade component that can be upgraded up to level 15 and provide an enormous boost to your power on the Paragon Board.

The majority of upgrades in the game can be replaced, however, Glyphs are only the one upgrade component that can be removed and replaced without restrictions. The only exception is legendary equipment that requires the use of a Black Lion Salvage Kit to salvage and replace.

The value of each Glyph is displayed when you select it in your inventory. You can choose to replace it with a different Glyph of the same rank or higher rank, which will boost the overall value of the Glyph.

Glyphs can be found in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of a Gem Store bundle or purchase them with certain tools that are unlimited in use, and during Faction Crypt Raids. Every Faction Crypt will drop one of these Glyphs. There are some rare glyphs you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

Once you have gotten the desired Glyphs you will need them to be placed on your gear. Each Glyph unlocks a special bonus that boosts the stats of a specific set of nodes within a radius around the Glyph. Depending on the Glyph it could be +40 to one of your primary stats, or +25 to two of your secondary stats.

Using Glyphs Glyph will boost all nodes connected to it, so it is recommended to position your Glyphs near the most important nodes of the Graph to maximise the impact. For instance, a Druid should try to place their Glyphs near their primary damage nodes but you should also think about placing them near crucial damage nodes as well.

Leveling

The upgrade system of items allows players to increase the power of certain items by inserting upgraded components. This is often referred to as "upping". Each upgradeable item is assigned an amount that determines the final statistics. Upgraded items can be leveled up to a maximum of 385. Each level of an item requires various components, and the cost of upgrading increase with each level.

Certain upgrades require a certain ingredient to activate. This ingredient is obtained by the completion of Upgrade Recipes. These recipes are available in the upgrade tab of a crafting table or obtained from NPCs. Each Upgrade Recipe that is completed yields a certain number of Technology points. These points can be used to level up the item, and once enough are earned, the upgrade can be claimed and its additional bonuses will be added to the item.

When an individual player upgrades a piece of equipment the original item will be replaced with a new item. This means that the same piece of armor will be transformed into an weapon or shield once upgraded. The new item comes with its own set of bonuses. This can be a disadvantage in that it could make the item upgrader more expensive, even if you don't need it.

Upgrades to items can be rerolled if the player has enough tokens in order to do so. This will cause the item upgrader kit to be exchanged for a brand new one, which will have an initial level and a totally different set of extra bonuses. This is a good idea but it should not be repeated often since it can waste resources.

Some upgrades can be rerolled many times to increase their value, allowing the player to customize their equipment. Dolphin's Gift is a good example, since it grants an increase in power if the player is repeatedly in or exits the water. The item can be upgraded multiple times and increases the maximum roll each time by 10 increments. This item is extremely useful in PvP battles, since an item that is properly rolled it could be worth between 20 and 50x its non-upp'd value.

Requirements

The ability to upgrade items allows players to upgrade the level of their available equipment--armor, weapons, and trinkets above ilvl 385--by presenting the appropriate currency and items to an NPC that upgrades items. Upgrades to armor set pieces increase its base defense and upgrade items weapon upgrades items increase the damage they deal as well as their strength and dexterity.

Each item can be upgraded up to five times, except for hero gear which can be upgraded with eight upgrades. Every when you upgrade an item, it has an opportunity to fail. The failure rate increases the more you go over the maximum number of upgrades. Failures will cause the item to revert back to its original condition, which requires the user to spend more materials than they would had they stopped upgrading at the maximum amount of upgrades.

If an item isn't upgraded the experience bar on its growth bar will reset to zero. The item will also lose any bonuses it has gained, such as the chance to crit, attack damage, or other effects (such as an increase in healing over time, or reloading speed). The player is able to use their weapon or armor even after the failure.

When an item is upgraded, the upgrades are applied from lowest to highest. This means that the weapon that is upgraded receives a crit chance boost that it will be applied before any attack damage increases. A new attribute called Slots has been added to the item definition and the value is recomputed every time an upgrade is made.

The amount of resources needed to upgrade an item is determined on the rarity rating and the number of upgrade slots. The cost of upgrading non-premium equipment is equal to the value of the base item. For example an item of common use could have five upgrades at a cost. 25,600 Technology Points and 4x Quality Improvement Chance--whereas hero quality items will have an incredibly lower cost for each additional upgrade.

Premium items have different upgrade requirements as compared to standard equipment, for instance, they might require fewer sowels, but more minerals and erons. The player will still need to bring every piece of equipment they want to upgrade to the NPC [ArmorBoboko. Boboko located in Central Flarine. In addition to the upgrade cost mentioned above, each upgrade will require the use of different ingredients needed to upgrade.
