Roborock is the manufacturer of some of our most loved robotic vacuums, and the Q5+ does not fail to impress. It's their most affordable auto-empty model. While it's not equipped with some of the premium features that are found on more expensive models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still an excellent option if you're willing to sacrifice a little to save some hundred dollars.

The Q5+ is notably gentle around obstacles like table legs and walls which makes it an excellent option for homes with a lot of furniture. It's also very thorough in cleaning dust bunnies. This is a place where many robot vacuums that are less expensive aren't able to meet. The technology for navigation in the Q5+ is excellent too, with very little missing in corners and on walls.

Like other Roborock devices like the Q5+, the Q5+ can be controlled by a handful of buttons on the device or via the Roborock app. The app lets you start and stop cleanings. You can also set schedules, design virtual barriers and no-go areas or alter your home map, or re-label rooms.

If you opt for the Q5+, it comes with a brand new auto-empty dock, which was specifically designed to make the machine easy to maintain. It requires a screwdriver to install, [Redirect-Meta-1] but once it's installed, the process of emptying the bin is easy. It also comes with an impressive LCD display that is great to have when you're setting up schedules or altering settings. This isn't a necessity for everyone however it will assist you in keeping track of the intervals between maintenance for your robot easily.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot vacuum and mop that's impressively smart in both its vacuuming and mopping capabilities. Its design and functionality are some of the best on the market however it's expensive.

Its base station looks good and is hidden when it's not in use, and its size is relatively compact. But the station's main selling feature is the way it automatizes many tasks and functions that other robots leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water, electrolyzes and heats the water (which many other robots require you to do), empties the dustbin after vacuuming, and helps keep your robot charged and clean.

The laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as some other robovacs, which means it is sometimes stuck or confused in certain rooms or corners of the house. It also can't climb stairs like other models and isn't equipped with a dock that can create a cleaning area for carpets that are soft.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a great option for those looking for a vacuum robot that can do it all.

But if you want to save money or don't want to think about the limitations of this machine There are many other options on the market which include a variety of eufy models for significantly less. The Eufy Qrevo Curv, [Redirect-301] for example, is cheaper and offers the same experience in the app, but with additional features such as stair climbing, a full-function dock, and a better overall performance when vacuuming floors as well as high- and low-pile carpets.
