The Tutti Bambini CoZee is an award-winning bedside crib and travel cot crib designed with a safe night's sleep in mind. It has an adjustable side rail that can be easily lowered to feed your child at night without disturbing them or causing them to get out of the bed. This is ideal for mothers who breastfeed! It is also lightweight and easy to move around during nap time or when traveling.

It's made from soft materials and has mesh sides that breathe to increase airflow. It is available in charcoal or oak and various melange fabrics that blend with most decor styles. Anna found it to be sturdy and secure after being affixed to her bed. The legs slid into place and the zippers were secure to ensure security. It took her around 10 minutes to assemble it and didn't require any tools, with clear instructions and a video or customer support contact number should you encounter any problems.

This is one of the more expensive options. However, it comes with many excellent features. It's designed to be used as a side sleeper or a standalone crib and is suitable from birth to six months. It is easy to open and close the side panel thanks to a new mechanism. It's also more adjustable than its predecessor, having 11 different height levels and retractable feet for a secure fit under any bed.

Our testers were impressed by the ease of access offered by the side panel, that can be moved up and downwards with just one click of a switch. This was a huge help during feeding times at night as it meant that they could reach into and take their baby away without disturbing them up.

The side panel can be removed by itself however it isn't recommended since it increases the risk of your child falling out of the cot. The safety locking system guarantees that the side panel will only stay down if it is connected correctly to the mattress of the parent. This is an excellent feature to have in place for peace of mind, especially in the case of breastfeeding and frequent night feeds.

Telescopic legs allow the Chicco Next2Me Magic to be used with any bed including divan bases and beds with drawers. It also has an option to tilt for babies with reflux and a rocking mode to soothe them back to sleep after eating. It's also extremely spacious and has excellent ventilation thanks to its mesh sides.

Our test participants found the Next2Me Magic easy to set up and use, though it comes with a long instruction manual. It's heavier than some of the other side-sleepers, however it's fairly mobile and can be moved from room to room easily. It's also able to fold into a bag for travel, which is great when you need to transport it. The only issue our testers have found is that the side panel didn't flex as much compared to other models. This made it a little harder to observe your baby from the bed.

The Shnuggle Air

The Shnuggle Air bedside crib and cot crib is an excellent choice if you want a crib that grows with your child. It's designed to be a sleep-co-sleeping bassinet that will attach securely to your bed but also convert into a chic cot when your baby is ready. It's perfect for night-time feeds and for strengthening your bond with your infant.

Unlike some other cribs for bed, the Shnuggle Air is built with breathability in mind. Its dual-view mesh side panels and breathable, hypo-allergenic airflow mattress maximise airflow to keep your baby cool and comfortable. A gentle incline can help to reduce colic and reflux, while the zip down side makes it easy to feed or comfort your baby throughout the night.

The cot conversion kit (sold separately) is also well-designed, with clear instructions and everything you need to get started. It took us an hour to put together and was relatively easy to put together. The only drawback was the lack of captions written on a few images, which made it difficult to follow certain steps. However, it was an easy process and the quality of materials used was excellent.

In the co-sleeping mode, we found the Shnuggle Air to be an ideal choice for breastfeeding mothers and women who have had a C-section since it allows them to easily reach out to their baby for comfort and feeding without having to climb out of their bed. It's also great for those who prefer not to go through the hassle of getting into and out of a traditional cot or placing their baby down for a nap.

In our tests we observed the gliding motion of the next-to-me crib to be particularly helpful when it comes to helping babies fall asleep after feedings at night and midday. The drop-down side can also be easily accessible to feed or soothe babies during the middle of the night this was a huge selling point for our exhausted test mothers.
