The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a good choice if you're looking for a mid-range mop and robot vacuum. It offers a great mopping experience, but doesn't have the features that make up its more expensive counterpart.

During testing it was able to remove pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium-pile. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't utilize LIDAR to help you map your home.

1. iRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the most highly-rated robots. It is loaded with features and impressive cleaning power, such as an area for dirt that is built into the charging base. This robot can also learn your habits of cleaning and suggest automatic schedules to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.

The setup process is simple thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automatic cleaning functions at the push of the button. You can select the general clean option which focuses on the elimination of larger particles like cereal and rice. You can also choose two mappings to ensure that your home is thoroughly cleaned.

It sucks up large items and doesn't lose suction as quickly as some other models and can remove pet hair with ease. The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that is focused on improving corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba that adopts a flat-fronted D-shaped design. The company hopes that this will allow it to be able to hug furniture and walls. It's a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are widely used, but we found it only marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with superior filtration which blocks tiny particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. We think it's a nice claim however, it's not enough to justify a premium price.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors to store the layout of your home and vSLAM for mapping the interior. This allows it to avoid obstacles like stairs and other barriers and also to clean your entire home in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundaries to ensure that the robot is aware of which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that can combine mopping and vacuuming, the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vac settings are as efficient as those found on higher-end models and its mopping feature is better still--its spinning pads do a much better job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibration pad.

It's only downside is the lack of a second brush to allow for more thorough cleaning. However, that's not a big deal for those who want to own one of the best robot vacuum deals robots on the market. The robo-vac's dust tank is also larger than many of its competitors and takes only two or three cycles to fill it up, even with the highest dirt level.

For the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. The two mopping settings that it has, which are less powerful than the high-powered modes, produce very low noise, which means you can work or even watch TV without being distracted. If it comes across a wall or piece of furniture it gently bumps into it before moving on.

What really makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost autonomously with very little need for user intervention. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that can automatically transfer physical trash to the bin hidden in the background and also washes and drys the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app will only inform you when something is not right, such as a low clean water tank or a canceled vacuuming session due to the bin being full.

You can also create or merge actual rooms to personalize the way Q Revo treats your home. This is a great feature for those who have multiple rooms in your home that have different floor materials or if there's a lot of clutter that needs to be cleaned out regularly, such as toys, Shark Robot Vacuum Self Empty clothes and books. The robo-vac was also one of the top performers in my test cleaning up debris from both carpets as well as hardwood floors on the first attempt. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I suggest drying the area with a towel prior to sending it in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop combo and more. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum with powerful suction that cleans carpets and hard floors, as well as a rotating mop that scrubs tough staining. It also comes with self-cleaning bases that automatically cleans and empty the mop pads, ensuring that they remain them free of germs and ready to use again. It also comes with a sensor that recognizes obstacles better and prevents it from falling onto furniture and other objects.

The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that it has a sleeker, more modern design due to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for Bang & Olufsen products). It also comes with additional mopping modes as well as an intelligent routing feature that allows you to clean certain rooms or areas of your home instead of just following a specific route.

The X2 Omni is the best mopping robot. Its mop pads rotating remove tough stains and its motor produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding too, and it boosts suction when it detects carpets to ensure that it does the job well. It also has a massive battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as powerful as any we've seen in an ordinary robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a premium model that has a range of convenience features not often found on robots of this price. It can make precise floor maps and recognize various flooring types. It's also one of the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These are nice features, but they also place the L10s in the class of luxury. This might make it more expensive than homeowners need.

Created to look like a contemporary floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish enhanced by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is adorned with an impressive bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner when you are moving around your home. In the pane in the front is additional navigation technology with sensors that help the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum there is a single button which serves as an on/off switch.
