iRobot Combo j5

This robotic mop and vacuum from iRobot can be used in homes with hard or carpeted floors. It uses intelligent mapping and eliminates obstacles to efficiently clean. iRobot Combo i3

The iRobot Combo i3 has been upgraded from the original Roomba i3. It still comes with a HEPA-filter to trap allergens and the same great dust compartment that is outside, but it now supports smart mapping. You can now designate no-go areas to prevent the vacuum from cleaning the same areas again. The i3 Plus still has a variety of other fantastic features too like its advanced cleaning system, 10x power-lifting suction, and three-stage cleaning process. It comes with a textured surface to keep pet hair, dust and fingerprints away.

It performs well on bare floors and cleans most debris however, it was a bit difficult with pet hair on low pile carpets. It is quieter and does a fantastic job on carpets with a high pile. The i3 is a bit more expensive than the Roborock S4 Max but it comes with a self-emptying station that empties the dirtbag, replenishes its water reservoir and cleans the mop pads.

With the i3 app, you can make schedules to clean at a specific time to suit your needs. You can also use your voice assistant to control your robot vacuum for stairs (Full Content) and start or stop the cleaning. It also monitors the unique floor plan of your home to offer personalized scheduling and cleaning habits. It utilizes advanced mapping sensors to navigate carpet and hardwood floors, and it also teaches you how you clean to optimize performance.

The I4 is also less demanding in terms of maintenance requirements, incurs lower costs for recurring maintenance and has a longer runtime in its weakest suction mode than the i7.
