What is an Item Upgrader in Pokemon Go?

Success Rate

The basis for upgrading items is an opportunity, and like any random system there is a chance that the upgrade won't be successful. There are a few methods to increase your odds of success. This includes the use of an Upgrade Pity or the addition additional components to your upgrade.

An Upgrade Pity is an item you can purchase from the smithing NPC in Lost Ark. It increases the chance of an upgrade's success by some percentage. It's similar to the "luck bonus" that some items provide, but it is more secure. It can be added to any armor or weapon, and can be used up to three times.

It is also possible to add a number of additional elements to the upgrade, thereby increasing its chance of success. They are displayed in a window above the + button. There are some limitations. The maximum amount of material you can add is shown directly above the + button.

Another way to increase the chances of a successful upgrade is to use the item known as Blacksmith Blessing or an upgraded version of it. This item is beneficial in the event that you have an item or weapon gear that has reached the maximum level for its tier, or is close to it.
