Its app lacks advanced features such as multiple cleaning modes or automated scheduling. It does work with Alexa, but its voice controls aren't very precise or responsive. And it's also a little unreliable when it comes getting back to the charging station after an outing Other robots can trace a previous path or even follow a wall until they get to their home, but the RX3 simply bumbles around until it finally gives up and sends a failure message to your phone.

Another issue we encountered was with its intelligent features, specifically the mapping function as well as digital keep-out zones. While it did a great job of keeping away from our furniture legs and shoes but it could easily be caught by cables and socks and couldn't handle the tassels on carpets.
