The system will hone the horn, flash the indicators and stop the vehicle when the code isn't found. The Anti-Hijack feature is disabled by entering your push sequence or by enabling service mode, which allows your car to temporarily start and drive without needing to enter your PIN.

If you have a GPS device that is connected to your BMW it is possible to use it to cancel the Anti-Hijack feature, so you can still use the navigation system inside your car whilst the vehicle is parked and unattended.
