We also had issues with the intelligent features of the device, namely its mapping feature and digital stay-out zones. While it did a decent job of keeping away from our furniture legs and shoes however, it was easily stuck by cables and socks and couldn't handle the tassels that adorn rugs. This is the reason we decided not to include it in our Best Buy list. The Scout RX3 offers a good price and a dazzling performance. It's worth a look as an alternative to uprights that are traditionally used.
