World of Warcraft Item Upgrades

The upgrading of your equipment is an essential element of equipping your character. Upgrades increase the base damage and enhancements of items.

They also offer bonus effects and improvements. They are available through the Blacksmith.

The upgrade button can be found on any Best item upgrader. Each recycled item adds one level to the upgrade gauge.

Weapon

When a weapon gets upgraded, it receives a base damage bonus and an increase in the scaling factor that affects other stats. Certain upgrade components come with aesthetic effects while others give additional attributes. These upgrades can be added to armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools, and trinkets. Most require that the equipment is equipped with an upgrade slot and meet certain specifications. The upgrade component can be removed from an armored weapon, weapon or trinket, however it cannot be replaced. (Except for legendary equipment). Upgrade components can be found using a Black Lion Salvage Kit or Ascended Salvage Tool, or Best item upgrade by using a high-tier salvage tool on the item itself.

A weapon can also be upgraded to include a calibration attribute that increases certain stats, like Weakspot damage or Crit Rate. This can be done via the Gear Workbench interaction menu. This can be repeated four times based on the weapon level.

After the weapon has reached its maximum level of improvement and is then rebuilt to add additional bonuses and effects, or to improve specific stats. A variety of these upgrades can be used simultaneously, and the effects differ based on the rarity of the weapon.

There are two Blacksmiths in the game that can perform these upgrades: Blacksmith Hewg in the Church of Elleh hub area as well as Smithing Master Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons, and Somber Smithing Stones for modifying the kind of damage a weapon can cause.

It is generally recommended to upgrade weapon damage first, then armour defense, then the other secondary stats as required by your build. In particular, it's common to see melee druids upgrading their weapon before they upgrade any other gear, because it can increase DPS. This is especially applicable to enchantments that increase a weapon's stats as well as damage.

Armor

Item upgrades allow players to increase the stats base of certain pieces of armor, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools. These upgrades may also provide additional effects, such as more damage or cosmetic enhancement. Item Upgrades are available by crafting, buying from NPC vendors or loot drops, or as rewards for quests.

The armor can be upgraded by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. In the majority of cases the armor will be upgraded to next level after an upgrade is applied. The majority of armor types are upgradeable, however some items (such as the starter armour in Great Sky Island) cannot.

Most armor upgrades increase the item upgrader kit's strength or defense by a small amount. However, some upgrade components can offer significant increases to defense or strength, particularly when upgrading an epic item.

In addition to increasing the defense of an Best item upgrade, a few upgrades also give special abilities that can be activated while wearing a piece of armor. These abilities can be helpful in combat, such as granting a buff to attack speed or blocking. Certain upgrades also have passive effects, for instance cutting down on the amount of damage taken while wearing armor or adding the ability to deflect attacks.

Upgrades to armor can require multiple attempts, depending on the type of armor. For example the case of a player wanting to upgrade the strength of a Steelclash armor to Dragonscale, the first attempt will result in a brand new piece of Dragonscale with an initial defense range of the ages of 59-67. The second attempt would result in a new Dragonscale armor that has an initial defense of 67-77 and so on.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players upgrade their armor sets to level 4. To upgrade their armor, players must visit the four Great Fairy Fountains found in the game. Each of these locations has a fair with a great power that can change the quality of an item of armor for you.

Contrary to popular belief, armor in The Division 2 is not useful. The truth is that certain armors come with very substantial boosts to poison, curse, fire or magic damage reduction, making them very useful for certain types of builds. Additionally, there are ways to increase the stats of armor beyond the use of upgradeable armor, such as the engineer trait that increases armor penetration, or the challenger trait to lower total weight.

Potion

When you put a potion into the stand for brewing, you will be able to unlock new effects. The upgrade opens a new tier of potion effect, and can be repeated for more tiers of potency.

The potion also gets an individual color code, that the player can pick by using /give. This alters the area-of-effect clouds and arrows created by the potions. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion color is also applied to the particle effects of the potions.

The water bottle, common and thick potions as well as difficult potions, now have a different brewing texture. In the Creative Inventory, potion healing and potion weakness have been added. In addition, there are lingering potions which can be brewed using Dragon breath or splash potions. Also included is a potent potion that has the status effect of Mining Fatigue. Trinket

A trinket can be described as a small inexpensive piece of jewelry. This can be a necklace, ring or even a tiny flag used to identify a vessel's lateen yard. It can also refer to a gilded trinket on the mast of a vessel.

This macabre trinket appears to be influencing the inhabitants of this maze by making them more prevalent. At its current level, this trinket makes all types of mimic Xx more popular, and gives each floor a Y% chance of having an ebony mimic. Upgrades to this trinket will cost a small amount of energy.

This enchanted Scepter's magic seems to affect the dungeon and increase the likelihood of generating water and grass. At the moment, this trinket will make X% of regular floors fill with water or grass but it doesn't affect enchantments, symbols, cursed weapons or armor, or items that are created to aid in the elimination of hazards.

This item, which appears like a newt's eyes, seems to affect your vision in a manner that goes beyond merely narrowing your field of vision. This trinket, at its current level, boosts the health gained by drinking healing potion and wells of life by X% and also gives mind sight to enemies within the Y tile. This is not a stacking feature with the Heightened Senses.

After you have completed the Mastery Cave, you can find Trinkets by beating Monsters and inside chests and crates within Skull Cavern. They cannot be found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.

When you have a trinket that requires upgrading, place it in the Anvil to do so. This will create an unpredictable effect on the trinket either extending its lifespan or enhancing its effects. You can reorge an Best item upgrader as many times as you like, but it will always have an impact that is different from the one you had when you first made it.

You can also upgrade your Trinkets by placing them in a Magical Catalyst located at the Alchemy Station. This will cost you 6 energy and increase the trinket's power by only a tiny amount.
