WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a boost in specific stats. Each upgrade increases the level of an item by 3. Each upgrade also increases a random substat.

Upgraded gear is generally more valuable, unless the item Level upgrade (https://ucgp.jujuy.edu.Ar) has low requirements by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a large variance in stats (like the eth Titan weapons). Upgrades aren't as important for those with higher variance due to the need to roll an exact version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear by giving the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be made on any kind of armor or weapons. The item used to upgrade the item will be consumed and can't be used again. Upgrades can be used to create Enchantments.

The upgrader can be found in all major cities and can be accessed anytime to upgrade your gear. To ensure that your equipment is up-to-date it is recommended that you visit the upgrader each few weeks.

Upgrades will cost more depending on the level of the item but they will always be cheaper than buying new equipment. For example upgrading a Benthic chest piece to 385 ilvl will cost 20 recycle points purchasing a similar piece from a different player will cost 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to purchase weapons, armor, Item Level Upgrade tools and accessory upgrades. They can be purchased by players through item upgrader NPCs in exchange for various currencies, and may also be found in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade has been purchased, it can be used on any weapon or tool using the help of button, which will display an item's preview at its next upgrade level in the event that the player has enough materials.

Upgrade costs vary depending on the slot for the item upgrading and the current item upgrade level. For instance weapons are more expensive than gloves, bracers or bracers. Each step costs 15 Flightstones plus a certain number of crests. Some upgrades offer a discount on the Flightstones. Once an item has been upgraded to a certain amount it can be re-downgraded and sold to the upgrader at a lower cost.

Many locations offer item upgraders, including the main Island and some outposts. The NPCs offer both an upgrade coupon and a possibility of obtaining an entirely new recipe. The discount for upgrades increases depending on the amount of items being upgraded. It is also possible to be boosted by requiring players to complete specific achievements or quests.

Contrary to Cromwell in Baldur's Gate II there is no upgrader for items available in the beginning of Icewind Dale. The NPCs who are able to facilitate upgrades are only available through a variety means. This is both a benefit as well as an issue.

In Season 3, the upgrade system was altered a bit, with some new features added. Once a player obtains an upgrade to a specific level for an item in an armor slot, upgrading further items to that level will be less expensive, even when they belong to an entirely different set of gear.

Crests

Players have a number of options for upgrading their equipment in WoW. Flightstones are a currency that is available to all players for upgrading. Crests are more specific and are utilized during specific item level upgrades. Crests are an integral element of the Dragonflight Gear Progression System that was introduced in version 10.1. They are available in four ranks.

The first thing to be aware of is that crests can only be used on gear of a specific rank, and every rank has different requirements for upgrading. The simplest and easiest upgrade is 15 crests. For instance, when an item is at the highest level of upgrading for any rank (Explorer, Adventurer, Veteran, Champion, item Level upgrade Hero, or Mythic), it won't need Flightstones to be upgraded. This change is designed to allow players to get their equipment to the highest level possible for all their characters instead of relying on seasonal loot.

It's also crucial to choose crests in a wise manner, as they only have one use. It is best to use your Whelpling-rank Crests on the highest-quality gear you can locate and save Drake and Wyrm Crests for the next round of upgrades. This is especially true for items such as trinkets and rings that fill multiple slots. The account-wide discount is only applicable when all slots on the character are filled with top-quality equipment.
