Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can boost the stats of a piece of equipment and at times even add additional features. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random enhancements used.

The elite racial Shield Razortail for instance, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption function in PvP and/or provide additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more tradable over the original version that is not upgraded.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens permit you to buy a new item, such as a weapon, armor or ring. The item is swapped for one similar item with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective way to upgrade gear. They don't maintain the original level of the item and any wasted resources will not be refunded.

Reroll tokens can be obtained by survivors via a variety of methods like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in crates and chests, or buy them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attribute of an item, for example increasing its damage.

Players can reroll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power, and health. Upgrades to physical power can increase the damage of melee and weapons attack, while upgrades to spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player additional health.

There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to a better quality. To produce them, you require a higher-quality reroll token. Upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

The marker for rerolling, unlike markers or tokens that are placed on action areas, remains on the space till the next Success is rerolled. This lets you not waste upgrades.

Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Stage, and can be opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they show an explanation and icon for the appliance or ingredient. The restaurant's shop will trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.

During the course of a game, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool based on chosen Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints that the restaurant's shop sells for rerolls and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade weapons, armor and accessories. These are special stones that increase an item's level by increasing its stats and attributes. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by completing daily contracts.

To upgrade equipment, the player must first locate the item then click the "level up button". This will display a menu that shows the item's current status and what it will be after being upgraded, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Most often rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires only one blue or green Growth Stone.

After selecting the item to upgrade the user must choose the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay the cost. Once the player has met the requirements, they can click the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. The item will be upgraded in level by a certain percentage. Based on the rarity of the item the upgrade process can be as quick as a few seconds to minutes.

The upgrade items process also is risk-free and does not impact the longevity of the item. This makes it an ideal way for players to get a significant advantage in combat without straining their accounts. Moreover players can transfer experience and the progress of an upgraded item onto a new item by clicking the "transfer" tab.

For new players, it can be difficult to obtain Growth Stones. There are a variety of ways to acquire these stones. You can sign contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, get them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or collect them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is a feature that allows you to boost the effectiveness of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials, and then pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will consume upgrade components and grant the item an increased level, which gives the item an additional boost in that area. This process can be repeated until the maximum level of an item is attained.

Items with upgraded base stats display a blue icon in their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components do not stack with each other, but can only be added to a single item at a time. Each upgrade component also requires a certain number of items, as well as a minimum level of equipment.

The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add an item that they wish to upgrade. On the right side, a preview shows what the gear looks like at its next level. When players have enough materials and has pressed the yellow arrow will start the upgrade process.

An item of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its base stats will be increased by a small amount. The highest level for an item level upgrade is 19.

Once an item reaches its maximum capacity, it will no longer have the option of upgrading. In the same way, once a piece of gear reaches the level of a specific upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades for the track will be offered at a discount.

Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be inserted into armor, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools to provide an added bonus or item upgrader effect when the equipment is equipped. They can be purchased from vendors, looted or obtained through questing, or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so could destroy the previous upgrade, excluding for glyphs that can be removed and replaced at will.

Requirements

Items upgrades allow players to boost certain stats of armor and weapons they already have. The requirements for upgrading an item will differ based on the type of item, but you'll typically need Dilithium as well as a number Upgrade tokens.

Items can be upgraded by adding upgrade components to equipment and weapons. These will provide more effects or an improved quality of the item. The upgrades can be acquired from various sources in the game, such as crafting, purchased at the Trading Post or karma vendors, looted from bosses and raids, or dropped from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is inserted into an item, it can't be removed and changed without restriction, however, the glyphs used in gathering tools can be swapped out without limitation.

The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can boost the stats of the item.

The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun", for example, increases base defense and adds an additional 20% chance to block. In addition the dps enhancement "Wildfire" boosts weapon damage.

Certain items benefit from upgrading less because of their improved stats, but because it allows players to get the maximum amount of value from a perfect roll on the item. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for instance is highly sought-after by the melee PvP communities and could be worth as much as 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.

If you choose an upgrade component to slot into an item upgrader mod the game will show an open window that displays the requirements required for that item. These include the item upgrader kit type (either Weapon or Armor) the level of the item, the Upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.

If you've fulfilled the requirements for upgrading the game will put the item in your inventory and the progress bar will update to show how close to completing it. You can also check the status of an upgrade by going to any item upgrader NPC.
